This is an incredible, humbling honor that reflects all the dedication and heart you generously give to the Farm. Crystal Heart Beading

What We Grew, and What We Grow - History of Gardening in the US, mid 1800s to Now
with Craig LeHoullier
This colorful workshop will use loads of pictures from old seed catalogs to show the different trends in gardens, starting in the mid 1800s (the beginning of US Seed Companies) and focusing on 50 year intervals, arriving at what we grow and enjoy today. Craig will take the class well beyond tomatoes to look at other key crops, such as beans, peas, eggplants and peppers. Be sure to bring all of your gardening and gardening history questions.
Each attendee will receive a packet of historic seeds!

An Introduction to Home Hydroponics

Under the expert guidance of the owner of Saluda Grade Farm, you'll learn the secrets of successful soil-less gardening and cultivate thriving plants. While this is a lecture only workshop, you will have access to the instructor and video guidance from him in setting up your VIVOSUN Hydroponic Grow Kit at home.

No Barriers USA, which provides programs for Veterans with visible and invisible disabilities, is excited to launch its 2024 season with the opening of applications for its No Barriers Warriors program. The application period opened on Jan. 9.
The 2024 program season features four Basecamp trips in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado (June 28-July 2, July 12-16, July 26-30 and Aug. 1-5) and five backcountry trips: June 5-9 in Asheville, N.C., Aug. 13-19 in Wyoming, Aug. 22-28 in Colorado, Sept. 5-11 in Colorado, and Sept. 15-21 in Wyoming.
