Saturday, January 27th

* Polar Bear Plunge at Chetola:

* Rotary Chilly Chili Challenge, Blowing Rock School Gym, 11:00am – 2:00pm (Tickets $10)


* Mountain Alliance’s Silent Auction, 10:00am-4:00pm, American Legion


* Beer Garden, Meadowbrook Inn (Four Seasons Ball Room), 1:00pm – 3:00pm (Tickets $35)


* Ice Carving Demo in Memorial Park, 12:00pm – 4:00pm


* Cork & Canvas: Konstain Gorbatov’s “A Winter’s Day” BRAHM, ($45 for members, $50 for members-to-be; online registration required), 11:00am – 1:00pm


* The Speckled Trout Outfitters Humvee Hayrides, BR Chamber Office, 12:00pm – 3:00pm 


* Free Paleo Putt-Putt Mini Golf (with any activity purchase), Doc’s Rocks, 10:00am – 5:00pm. Website

* Guided tours through BRAHM’s exhibitions led by a docent. 11:00am-4:00pm, FREE admission


* Jazz at WinterFest – Historic Green Park Inn – Charlie Ellis playing in the Lobby from 5:00pm – 6:30pm (no charge). 3 course prix fix dinner in the Chestnut Grille with the Todd Wright Quartet. Seating begins at 6:00pm with music from 6:30pm – 9:30pm ($39.95 – call 828-414-9230 for reservations)


* Festival of Lights from dusk until 10:00pm, Chetola Resort


Sunday, January 28th

* Pancake Breakfast, Blowing Rock School (School Cafeteria), 8:00am – 10am, $12 (Tickets)

Monday, January 29th - Wednesday, January 31st.

The tentative Schedule is 8:30am-5:00pm each day in the American Legion Building.

- Twice a year the Town Council holds a retreat with Town Leadership to discuss each area's progress, future proposals, address councilmember questions, etc.

- The Retreat is open to the public; however, it is not open to public questions or comments.

- The Retreat will also be live streamed each day on our YouTube channel here.
