Dear Rhonda,
This Community always amazes me with your compassion and generosity. A number of you have donated to help Juan and his family while Juan is with his dad's bedside in Guadalajara. To date there has been an additional $1,850.00 to help them out during this unexpected emergency. For those of you who have asked us to withdraw funds from your ACH account, we will be doing that on Thursday, May 15th. If anyone else would like to contribute you can help by dropping off a check or arranging to withdraw funds from your account. Just reach out to me with your desire. And Thank you again! I know this helps in relieving some financial pressure off Juan and his family while he is away.
Juan Castro; the amigo who you might find singing and whistling a tune, while pushing a lawn mower (also the far left team member in the photo above) is a valued member of our landscape crew for the last 7 years. He is going through a difficult time as his father is critically ill in the hospital with colon cancer in Guadalajara, Mexico, and is not expected to live long.
The Board has approved a $1,000 donation from the community fundraiser account to help with his travel expenses to be with his father in his final days. If any homeowners wish to offer additional support you are welcome to send contributions through Rhonda Hinkley, our homeowners’ representative.
