73rd Holy Convocation "300" Voice Choir

Praise the Lord Diocesans!

As we quickly approach our 73rd Holy Convocation and 90th Anniversary celebration, I wanted to make you aware of a special celebratory effort currently underway.

In response to seeing a decline in our Convocation’s Mass Choir participation over the past few years, I want to make sure we get strong support for this year’s Convocation Choir, which will be known as “300”.  This is an important milestone and deserves nothing less than our very best. This special choir will minister in music during the Keynote Address on Monday, July 31 and the All-Saints Day Service on Friday, August 4.

With that said, I am asking each Diocesan to encourage the churches under your respective areas to participate in this unified effort.  If each of the six Dioceses can represent with 50 participants, that will get us to our goal of 300.  This effort may come easy for most, but others will have to put in a little extra work to pull this together; however, I know we can do it!

A conference call has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 27 at 8:30 pm. The dial-in information is as follows:Dial-in #: 1-218-548-8834, Pass code: 833680. We are asking that all choir directors and musicians from the various churches in your diocese participate on this call.

Together, I know we can make this Convocation and Anniversary celebration one to remember!

In His Service,

Bishop Bennett B. Gamble, Sr.

General Secretary
