Over the past two weeks, the Barrington 220 Board of Education has worked together to determine the next steps following the anticipated departure of Superintendent of Schools Dr. Robert Hunt at the end of the school year.
The Board has engaged in thoughtful conversation about the current needs of the school district, and it has affirmed the New Superintendent Profile Report, which was created in November 2020 with input from Barrington 220 stakeholders. The Board acknowledges the significance of stability and continuity in the district during this time of transition, and it has reached a decision on the next Superintendent of Schools.
The Board will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 6pm at the District Administrative Center to consider the approval of the contract for Barrington 220’s new Superintendent of Schools.
