Atkinson Construction Invests in St. Albert HQ

Atkinson Construction has broken ground on a new $7-million headquarters in St. Albert’s Riel Business Park, marking a major investment by a growing local company.

The three-storey infill development will transform an existing property into a purpose-built headquarters supporting the company’s operations and future growth. Atkinson Construction will occupy the second and third floors, with rooftop amenities for employees.

“This milestone marks an exciting new chapter as we invest in a space designed to support our growing team, strengthen collaboration, and serve as our long-term headquarters within the community we proudly call home,” the company shared.

The main floor will offer co-working offices for lease, creating flexible space for entrepreneurs, professionals and small businesses. This expands the project’s economic impact by helping other companies establish and grow in St. Albert. The development reinvests in Riel Business Park, adds modern office capacity and supports the continued evolution of one of St. Albert’s primary employment areas.

Atkinson Construction delivers commercial, light-industrial, institutional, multifamily and public-sector projects across Western Canada. The new headquarters reflects its long-term commitment to local investment, business growth and job creation.
