If a company is not able to make ends meet, liquidation is one option to pay creditors and close the business. It should noted that liquidation is just one business exit strategy option

Explaining Insolvency: when a company is unable to pay its debts or when it has more liabilities than assets on its balance sheet, this being legally referred to as “technical insolvency”. Liquidation is a legal ending of a limited company.

Let's Tackle Covid - 11,000 people vaccinated at Twickenham on Bank Holiday Monday!

Work Hounslow.jpg

Thousands of people stepped up yesterday (Monday 31 May) to get vaccinated at Twickenham Rugby Stadium - the biggest vaccination venue so far for residents of North West London.

The massive vaccination event on Bank Holiday Monday, organised by local NHS in partnership with Hounslow Council and supported by England RFU, resulted in around 11,000 people getting the jab in just one day.

Around 19,000 people have had their jab in the last ten days alone thanks to efforts from hardworking engagement team staff, community champions and of course healthcare professionals at the NHS.

This is great news and we hope to keep working to get more and more Hounslow residents vaccinated over the coming weeks.

A plea for help:

“Will you nominate Hounslow Rotary Club for a Movement for Good Award? £1,000 could make a big difference to the work we do. A large part of our work is funded by the Christmas Collections club members make outside supermarkets in the festive season but for obvious reasons we have not been able to make any collections for over 15 months.

Nevertheless we managed to maintain our support of foodbanks and the homeless, as well as organising Christmas goodies for the elderly and for young people in the care system, as well as all the usual contributions to local community groups and youth activities that we have been doing for the last 90 years.

If we win we will be putting the donation towards our work with the homeless, continuing our work with young people in the care system and expanding our peace work.

All the money we collect goes to this type of project. As volunteers ourselves we do not retain any proportion of proceeds for spurious administration charges.

That’s why we’d be really grateful if you could nominate us in the Ecclesiastical Movement for Good awards. Your nomination could be the one that wins us £1,000. The awards are designed to give eligible charities in the UK and Republic of Ireland the financial assistance they need to help them make a real difference. In total, 500 charities stand to gain £1,000 and we’d love to be one of them. It’s quick and easy to nominate us. Just visit https://movementforgood.com/#nominateACharity and enter your details. Our Charity number is 800500. The closing date for nominations is 13 June 2021

The more nominations we get, the greater our chance of winning, so please spread the word to your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your time and support.”
