Enjoy EURO 2020 safely

This week Public Health officials in Hounslow announced that around 35,000 people have ‘Stepped up’ by getting vaccinated in the first two weeks of the five-week Surge testing and increased vaccination programme.

This week’s efforts to tackle cases of the new Delta variant in the borough continue to gather momentum, in a bid to support the further easing of lockdown restrictions later this month.

After the long wait EURO 2020 kicks off tonight and we're all looking forward to what will be an exciting competition, regardless of the team you are supporting.

However, please remember to follow the rules to avoid any COVID-19 own goals.

Lets keep on 'Stepping up for Hounslow'!

If you are heading out to watch a match or watching from the comfort of your home get tested and keep yourself and others safe.

Government extends lockdown by four weeks - statement from Cllr Steve Curran

In response to this evening’s announcement of a roadmap extension of four weeks, by the Prime Minister, Hounslow’s Council Leader, Cllr Steve Curran, said:

“We know that the decision today will come as a huge blow to many and will mean more sacrifice for our residents who have already sacrificed so much.

“All of us want to get back to a more normal way of life as quickly as possible. During the past few weeks we have seen the people of Hounslow stepping up, making a phenomenal effort to get PCR tested and vaccinated to help tackle cases of the Delta variant in the borough. Residents, volunteers and partners, including the NHS, are working together with the Council in true ‘One Hounslow’ spirit.

"However, today’s decision by the Government is a stark reminder that we cannot and must not be complacent when it comes to keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe from the virus. There is still more work to be done. We must continue to follow the rules, get tested and get vaccinated when we can and we must remember the importance of ‘Hands, Face, Space’. From tomorrow, we must keep encouraging everyone over the age of 23 to get vaccinated.

"For both myself and our Director of Public Health, Kelly O’Neill, I want to thank the people of Hounslow for everything they are doing to support one another during these incredibly challenging times and for the courage and determination they continue to show each and every day. If support is needed, we are here to help. Please just ask.”

Today (15 June) you can get vaccinated!

Getting the vaccine is one of the best ways we can stop the spread of the virus and curb the impact of any new variants of concern.

The idea of a circular economy that offers new ways to create a more sustainable economic growth model is gaining popularity. Developing and nurturing key partnerships is a strategic and profitable way to grow a business, especially within the circular economy. We believe that business owners have a better chance of winning new business and achieving long-term success if they “partner their business out of the pandemic”.

This webinar delivered as an interactive and practical Business Sprint is based on a unique Partnership Value Canvas, and will explain how to select, develop, and win more business by forming key partnerships and collaborations.

The session will cover 5 different types of strategic alliances:
