I-64 Southside Widening and High Rise Bridge Expansion Project

Daytime Detour on Bainbridge Blvd at the I-64 Overpass, Jan. 4-8

Bainbridge Blvd at the I-64 overpass will be closed to all traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, beginning Monday, Jan. 4 through Friday, Jan. 8.

This closure will allow construction crews to safely set beams for the new High Rise Bridge.

Motorists should follow the detour below. Detour information will also be designated with signage along the roadway. Traffic on I-64 will not be impacted by this temporary closure.

Traveling South on Bainbridge Blvd

Turn left on Great Bridge Blvd
Turn right on Dominion Blvd
End detour at Bainbridge Blvd

Traveling North on Bainbridge Blvd

Turn right on Dominion Blvd
Turn left on Great Bridge Blvd
Turn left on Booker St
End detour at Bainbridge Blvd
