A nationally recognized leader in higher education strategic diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) leadership, Dr. Damon Williams will be leading a day-long inclusive excellence residency for faculty, employees, students and the campus community at Governors State University. This is now a hybrid event, the web-access link is below.

During his January 20, 2022 presentations, Dr. Williams will engage the campus community with individual sessions that focus on positive and impactful change through diversity, equity and inclusion. This is the first of a three (3)-event distinguished speaker series to advance GSU’s DEI initiatives.

employee-focused, however the entire community is invited to attend.

Campus Community Dialogue on Student DEI Initiatives This discussion will be

student-focused, however the entire community is invited to attend.

3:30 p.m.

Campus Community Dialogue on Faculty DEI Initiatives,

and Closing remarks by Chief Diversity Officer Carl Hampton
