New Health Officer Order

Today, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued a new Health Officer Order for a Safer Return Together at Work and in the Community. The Center for Health & Fitness (CHF) will be following the County’s guidance and best practices for reopening gyms. The new order will be effective Sunday, July 18.
 
Mask Requirements:
  • Everyone is required to wear a face mask indoors at CHF and within the 514 N. Prospect Ave. building regardless of vaccination status
  • Fully vaccinated members will NOT be required to wear a mask outdoors at CHF
  • Members who are not fully vaccinated or whose vaccination status is unknown will be required to wear a mask indoors and outdoors at CHF
Other Member Protocols Include
Member Capacity & Reservations
  • Gym Capacity Limits: There will be no capacity limits in the main gym area
  • Class Capacity Limits: Will remain in place and posted in the MindBody reservation system
  • Distancing: 6 ft. distancing will be implemented in classrooms
  • Reservation System: Members will continue to be required to make appointments with 2 hour workout limits through the MindBody scheduling system.
 
Member Vaccine Status & Screenings
  • Vaccine Status: Members will be required to fill out a vaccine status form.
  • Screening & Temperature Check: Members will continue to be screened downstairs and at the outdoor area.
  • Code of Conduct: Members will be required to fill out an updated Code of Conduct form.
 
Member Facility & Schedule
  • Cleaning & Ventilation: Cleaning will continue every hour, HVAC filters are changed regularly.
  • Showers & Lockers: Showers and Lockers are open, although members need to bring their own towels and locks.
  • Outdoor Area: Will remain open until further notice.
