Update: OC Chief Real Estate Officer Out

Note: Our last newsletter included a string of words that inadvertently triggered some of our recipients' spam filters. For those of you that missed Friday's news, here it is again. For those of you receiving this a second time, our apologies.]
Update: OC Chief Real Estate Officer Out
Scott Mayer, the Chief Real Estate Officer for the County of Orange and administrator over the contract negotiations for our Harbor Revitalization Project is departing his role with the County. We have been advised that this action is not related to our harbor renovation project, and that the County real estate team, under the supervision of the County Chief Executive Officer, will continue negotiations with Dana Point Harbor Partners without delay. Next week's "final meeting" between the County and DPHP that we described in
yesterday's newsletter is still on.
Whether or not this abrupt change to the County's real estate team will affect the (hopefully) imminent conclusion of the harbor development contract negotiations should be apparent in the coming days. Stay tuned...
Dana Point Boaters Association is a non-profit boater advocacy organization that is 100% funded by your donations. Our volunteer leaders receive zero compensation for what we do, other than the satisfaction of the achievements made on behalf of our boaters.
