Update: Recent Amendments to the Income Tax Act that Impact Lawyers

Further to our eBulletin article of Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, Recent Amendments to the Income Tax Act that Impact Lawyers, the Federation of Law Societies of Canada filed an application in the British Columbia Supreme Court on Sept. 11, 2023, challenging the constitutionality of the application of recent amendments to the mandatory reporting obligations in the Income Tax Act to members of the legal profession.
