Restart Grant scheme

The Restart Grant scheme is for businesses on the ratings list only and is a one-off grant.

The Restart Grant will support non-essential retail premises with one-off grants of up to £6,000
The Restart Grant will also support hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym business premises with one-off grants of up to £18,000.

The website will be updated with a link to the online application form week commencing 12 April 2021

Hounslow Council Grants

Business bounce-back toolkit launched

Hounslow Council has created tailor-made toolkits to support local retail and hospitality businesses to get ready for reopening on 12 April. Pubs, restaurants and cafes will be serving food and drinks via table service outside, in gardens and terraces.

The toolkits contain vital information and useful resources about the new rules and includes things like the do's and don'ts of using outdoor space, how to apply for a pavement licence, a reopening checklist, as well as useful links to Government guidelines and rules.

High Street Ambassadors supporting businesses in Hounslow

The last few months of the pandemic have been very challenging for all businesses – for many of you trading may have had to cease entirely or you have had to significantly change how you operate. The Council is working in partnership with retail and hospitality businesses to make sure town centres are safe to visit.

Business owners are invited to sign up for free face-to-face support and advice in applying the Government rules to their businesses. To book a slot, email [email protected] or phone 07944 373 605.

Extended opening hours confirmed

It has been confirmed that following the reopening of non-essential retail from Monday 12 April at the earliest, businesses will be allowed to trade until 10pm Monday to Saturday.

This will be to help ease crowding in premises, give greater flexibility for customers to avoid peak times and help businesses operate safely. Customers are reminded to check their local shop for its opening hours.
