What is a Community Development Plan?

A Community Development Plan (CDP) is a framework for the implementation of prioritized actions and identified resources that ensure equitable opportunities for Indigenous communities, residents, community groups, agencies, businesses, local anchor institutions and other rights-holders and stakeholders of the Update Downsview Study Area and surrounding communities.

About Update Downsview

Planning at Downsview is being led by the City of Toronto, Northcrest Developments and Canada Lands Company. These processes are focussed on creating a community-centred on transit investment, job creation, parks and open spaces, and community services and facilities that will meet the needs of existing and future residents and workers.
