We know many businesses have made changes to their hours with the uncharacteristic winter. As we prepare our spring promotions and content, we want to have the most up to date information to help visitors deciding when to come and encourage them to visit your establishments.

Oneida County Tourism is Asking Businesses to Add and Update Listings on Official Tourism Website

To help visitors and potential visitors learn more about business offerings in the Northwoods, the Oneida County Tourism Council is giving local businesses an opportunity to create a free listing on the county’s official travel website, oneidacountywi.com.

Business listings appear in five main categories on the site: Activities (boat rentals, fishing guides, etc.), Attractions (museums, breweries, etc.), Dining, Lodging, and Shopping. Businesses can update their listings on the site—which features a robust filter system that allows users to find businesses by type, location, amenities, and more.

Businesses that already have a listing on the Oneida County site can also use the platform to update their listings.

The new and updated business listings are being made in conjunction with and in support of Wisconsin Department of Tourism initiatives that highlight accessibility options and information on diverse-owned businesses.

Oneida County is inviting all tourism businesses in the county to take advantage of these free business listings. Businesses outside the county but affiliated with an Oneida County Chamber of Commerce or Destination Marketing Organization can also participate.

Hygge Night at the Library | Adults, Teens, and Kids | February 15th

Looking to enjoy a peaceful and quiet evening? Visit the library on the evening of Thursday, February 15th for some extra-special quiet and cozy time. Adults can read in the community room with some extra-special added ambiance and kids can bring a stuffed animal friend, a blanket, and listen to a story (on audio) in the kids room.

The Looney Lutherans share tips from their (fictional) cookbook and lifestyle guide: "Use Your Food. A guide to healthy living inside and out. From our kitchen to yours. Eat Like a Lutheran!" Using items from your very own home, you can have a healthy body, a healthy mind, and a healthy heart, the Lutheran Way.

Sweetheart Candlelight Hike at Minocqua Winter Park | February 17th

Join us for a magical night on the trails. Follow the light of nearly 300 candles to the quaint and cozy Tea House. There will be bonfires, a S'Mores bar and hot beverages. The lit route is about 2 miles round trip on an easy trail.

Sound Bath + Sauna The experience begins with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position, often with a blanket and an eye mask. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession.
