Virginia Guard to Deploy to Southern Border |

Americans are outraged about our southern border. It is impossible to keep America safe without a secure border. Thousands of illegal immigrants, fentynal, terrorist, and more are impacting the Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness of fellow Americans. I'm glad we have a Governor doing something about it. Governor Youngkin will deploy 100 Virginia National Guard soldiers and 21 support personnel to the U.S. border with Mexico. Click here

My brother, Colonel Rusty McGuire, and I attended the retirement ceremony for Virginia National Guard Adjutant General Timothy Williams. It has been an honor working with General Williams over the last six years on legislation and other initiatives that keep Virginians safe and better support our troops. He leaves behind some big shoes to be filled. Thank you Sir for a lifetime of service to our country and our Commonwealth! |

Tracy and I attended the 45th Annual Richmond Greek Festival, hosted by the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. This event has been on hold due to COVID since 2019. The good news is attendance is up with 30,000 plus visitors from all over Central Virginia. We ran into many friends including the Clerk of the House of Delegates, Paul Nardo. Paul and his team do an incredible job keeping legislators and legislation organized and on task. |
