On November 3, we will be celebrating All Saint’s Day. We will take an opportunity to remember church members and close friends who have passed away over the last year. Our service will be a combined worship service at 10:00am. Rev. Nizzi Santos-Digan, District Superintendent of the Commonwealth East District will be preaching. Following the service, we will have our church conference and a light lunch will be served. | |
Bishop Bickerton Installation. The New England Conference invites all lay and clergy to join us for the Installation of our new Bishop on Saturday November 2 at 1pm at the Sudbury United Methodist Church. It would be great to have a good group of John Wesley represent us at the event and welcome our bishop.

Can you participate in music this Fall? The Bell Choir really needs a few more ringers. Everyone can be taught to play bells. If you already know music, it'll be easier but it's not a requirement.
The Chancel Choir also welcomes male and female voices.
Children and youth are welcome in both choirs provided a certain level of maturity.
Adults, youth, and children are also invited to participate in a March 2025 Musical at John Wesley. (Godspell or Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat). If anyone is interested in being in the show, please email jdudzinski223@gmail.com or speak to Joe Dudzinski, music director.

Silent Auction Donations
If you are cleaning out and preparing for Fall and the Holidays please keep the Silent Auction in mind.
Christine has set up shop in her garage to start thinking of themes for her baskets. Some of the smallest items help fill the baskets.
If you would like to donate items, please leave them in the Spirit Closet.
We develop themes based on donations. In past years some of the themes were Italian, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Golf, Soup items, Spa items, Game night, Coffee, Dog baskets, Teas, Pizza utensils with GC for a pizza place, Wines just to name a few. Non-basket items in your attic, basement or storage closets are also welcome. Small appliances like Air Fryers, Blenders, Mixers, Toasters or Toaster Ovens that are slightly used or brand new are also great donations. Other items could be Vintage Art Work, small furniture, dish sets, etc.
Also, as you frequent your favorite restaurants Gift Cards are always appreciated as are GC to Salons and Golf Country Clubs.
Copies of Flyers & Tax-Exempt forms are attached or can be picked up in the office.
Grateful,
Christine & Maryellen
Silent Auction Co-Chairs.
