Medicaid Provider Update Re. MDH Security Incident
Please see this memo from the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) regarding the recent cybersecurity incident. Per the memo, MDH has restored critical operations impacting our Medicaid providers following a recent security incident:
The MDH Electronic Data Interchange Transaction Processing System (EDITPS) is now AVAILABLE.
Providers may now submit Fee For Services claims (837s).
WebEVS, or recipient Eligibility Verification System, is now AVAILABLE.
Due to the volume moving through EDITPS, there is a possibility that claims submitted toward the end of the week may be delayed by an additional week.
No additional action is required for pharmacies, behavioral health and dental providers, or providers whose claims are submitted via LTSS Maryland.
We will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available. You can also find updates on the MDH Provider Information Page.
