We want to thank those of you who contacted us seeking information about how the COVID-19 crisis may impact our summer school programming. At this time, we fully intend to hold our courses and camps on the dates and times we announced in February. Those dates and times are below.
- June 5 – June 25 from 8 a.m. to 1p.m. (Mon-Fri)
- June 26 – July 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Mon-Fri)
However, as Superintendent Prentiss mentioned in one of her recent emails, we have been working on an e-learning option for our courses, including the Incoming Freshmen Seminar, should the stay at home order or limit on mass gatherings still be in effect in June and July. We will keep you updated on the status of these efforts.
While we are pursuing online options for our courses, our camps (math, tech and SIRS 2 and 3) can only be effectively administered via in-person instruction. If we need to cancel the camps due to restrictions related to COVID-19, anyone who signed up for them will receive a full refund. Families will also receive a full refund if we need to cancel courses due to low enrollment.
Given the unprecedented circumstances surrounding this crisis, we have extended the registration deadline for summer school until April 30.
