Golf Industry working
to keep golfers safe, when
courses are allowed to open.
Greetings!
April 25, 2020

We hope you and your family are safe and well during this time of uncertainty.

Golf Courses in Alberta are currently not allowed to be open due to the Covid-19 safety restrictions. Golf has been allowed in B.C. and it was recently announced that Saskatchewan will allow golf courses to open on May 15th.

When Public Safety allows golf courses in our province to open, we will be prepared to implement precautions to ensure the safety of golfers, our staff, and community. The golf industry is working together with us and other golf courses in preparation of this through " We Are Golf" (The National Allied Golf Associations/NAGA).

STATEMENT FROM “WE ARE GOLF” ABOUT COVID-19
We Are Golf (The National Allied Golf Associations/NAGA) are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our members, golfers, staff, volunteers and industry stakeholders as well as every Canadian in the communities where we live, work and play.

We have provided a link from albertagolf.org where they have posted recommendations that NAGA has created:

Alberta Golf has also dedicated an information page on their website:

We hope you find this information helpful and gives you some insight to how we are preparing to make golf a safe and healthy place when golf courses in Alberta are allowed to open.

Sincerely,
McKenzie Meadows Golf Club
