August 24 - September 4: All students begin classes in a Remote Learning environment.

August 31 - September 4: Remote learning continues and students will attend an orientation at their school.

Tuesday, September 8: PreK-5 begins 100% in-person learning; 6-12 begins hybrid learning.
(both with remote-only option)

Complete the Learning Preference Form

Elementary students/families
Complete the current form to share your learning environment preference with your school.

Middle and High school students/families
Keep an eye on your email for a message from your school Monday, August 3. It will contain a new Learning Environment Preference form based on our revised Restart Plan that now designates a hybrid learning environment (with remote-only option) for students in these grades. We are asking that families please complete the new form by Friday, August 7 to support school planning. Reach out to your school if you feel unprepared to complete the form.
Schools will be communicating details of their plans, orientation schedules, and other start-of-school information. If you have questions about a specific situation or student, please call or email your school - administrative and office staff are back in buildings. You can also make online meal account payments, view menus, and set purchase preferences for students in SchoolCafe. If you need access to a computer, you may visit Jeffco's Food & Nutrition Services Office at 809 Quail St., Bldg. 1, Lakewood, 80215 . For other languages, click Spanish , Russian , Vietnamese .

BOARD OF EDUCATION TO MOVE FORWARD WITH SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH
The Jeffco Public Schools Board of Education announced today, after a Special Meeting-Executive Session, they will begin the search for a new superintendent this fall, 2020. They will also announce an interim superintendent at an upcoming meeting in August. Visit the Board Meetings webpage for more.
SCHOOL SUPPLY ASSISTANCE

Families who need assistance with school supplies, The Action Center  is providing free school supplies for students who qualify. Distribution will be August 10 - 15, by appointment only, at Stevens Elementary School, 7101 W. 38th Ave., Wheat Ridge. R ead more and schedule an appointment here .
Want to donate supplies? Stop by Belmar Plaza, Sat., 8/1 between 11a - 2p. Donations of new supplies are appreciated (no used, please due to COVID-19 precautions), especially backpacks, loose leaf paper, college-ruled spiral notebooks, and pencils.
