NEXT WEEK IS TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
and we have for you...
...A Special Jeffco Makes Assignment!
In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week next week (May 4 - 8) , we are asking students and their families to help us in recognizing and honoring the amazing Jeffco teachers who positively impact the lives of the 84,000 students across our district.

We are encouraging you to get creative through this week’s Jeffco Makes activities (updated today!) which are focused on using a variety of ways to recognize teachers for the effort, attention, care, commitment, and instruction they deliver each day.

We look forward to collecting your photos and videos containing positive messages and shout-outs for our educators so that next week, we can share these tributes via Jeffco Makes and social media.

Let’s join together to get making, baking, and shaking for our teachers. Go Jeffco!
REMINDER: REMOTE LEARNING SURVEY WAVE #2 OPEN THROUGH MAY 10
Round 2: Things can change in a month, so we want to hear how learning at home is going for you today.
This student survey was sent to 3rd - 12th graders April 24 via their Jeffco Gmail. Parents/ guardians of younger students are encouraged to help their student complete the student survey.

Thank you for your participation!
HEALTHY LEARNING AT HOME: An Addition to Our Student-Focused Webpage
As we shared with you on April 17 , we have a  new webpage for student dedicated to informing them about remote learning, health/wellness resources, and other topics. We have added a section, Healthy Learning at Home , featuring tips like brain breaks, calming the mind, incorporating movement into the day, and getting the brain ready to learn. We hope you will share it with your Jeffco student!
