Dear UFCW Local 1776 members,
I am happy to announce that we have reached a settlement on our pandemic pay grievance with ShopRite.
On December 12th, all members in good standing who worked between August 1st and August 22nd of this year will receive a payment of one dollar ($1.00) per hour that you worked during that period.
This settlement comes as a reflection of the essential work you do as frontline workers. The union continues to push the company to fully reinstate the pandemic pay.
This payment will be issued with your regular December 12th paycheck. You must be a current employee as of December 5th who worked during the period of August 1st to August 22nd for this to apply. If you have any questions, please contact your union representative.
