Based in Austin, Texas, AGE of Central Texas offers a variety of services for older adults and caregivers to help make aging a positive and triumphant journey for everyone. Services and resources offered include an adult day health care, early memory loss support, health equipment lending, peer based computer classes for seniors through the AGE Computer Lab and free evidence-based, year-round courses for non-professional family caregivers across four counties through the collaborative program CaregiverU.
"AGE is on a mission to tackle the challenges of aging with expert solutions. We believe in the value of community and connection, and know that living with dementia as a caregiver or a patient can be a very isolating experience," said Annette Juba, Deputy Director of AGE of Central Texas. "As an agency offering six different services, we empower caregivers with helpful information and create engaging and meaningful experiences for persons living with dementia. It is incredibly humbling and rewarding to hear from clients that we have been a lifesaver to them!"
