Province Announces Move to Step 2

Dear Golf Industry Partners / Key Stakeholders,
 
We continue to monitor provincial restrictions imposed on businesses to curtail the health risks associated with Covid-19 and we are pleased to share the most recent information available.
 
The Provincial Government is following through on their February 8 announcement and will move to Step 2 effective February 28 at 11:59 pm:

 
Step 2: The following measures will be updated:
  • Youth screening activities for entertainment and sport activities has been removed.
  • Capacity on all large venues and entertainment venues lifted.
  • Indoor and outdoor social gathering limits lifted.
  • Mandatory work-from-home requirements lifted.
  • Provincial mask mandate lifted. (local mask mandate in Edmonton remains in effect)

Step 3: The timeline for Alberta entering Step 3 is to be determined and will depend on hospitalization rates continuing to trend downward.
  • Mandatory isolation removed (becomes a recommendation only).
