Long-Term Care Systems Workgroup Re-established, to Meet
Through the biennial budget process, the Unified Long-Term Care Systems Workgroup was re-established for fiscal year 2012 and fiscal year 2013. The first meeting of this "new" workgroup will be July 14, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:30 pm in Lazarus Rooms C621 A and B. During this meeting, Greg Moody, Director of the Office of Health Transformation, will discuss the final budget as it relates to long-term care systems and supports. Bonnie Kantor-Burman, Director of the Department of Aging and workgroup chair, will introduce the specific charge to the workgroup as identified in the biennial budget. Next steps, including the development of subcommittees, will be discussed. During the last half of the meeting, Dr. Robert Applebaum will present findings from the recently released report, "Coming of Age: Tracking the Progress and Challenges of Delivering Long-Term Services and Supports in Ohio."
