In all things, this is why do we do what we do----to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ!

On early Easter Sunday morning, Dr. Daren Statler (from PA) and Dr. Keith Long (PA), and Glenn departed for Burkina Faso, W. Africa. Our purpose was to lay the groundwork for an extensive cattle genetic improvement program among the Fulani people.

The Fulani are the largest nomadic herdsman group in the world; projected to be between 20-40 million people. Their sole livelihood is cattle and milk.

Due to landgrabs, prolonged drought, and ever-increasing acts of terrorism, the Fulani people are losing their lives, their families, their cattle and their way of life. Most of the Fulani are illiterate, so they have few other options for employment.

By incorporating Artificial Insemination (and all that it involves), we can drastically increase milk production which will allow them to be more productive with fewer cattle. Fewer more productive cattle will help them to become less nomadic, reducing their exposure to terror, drought and other threats.

Less than 1% of Fulani are Christians, so it is critical that we find new ways like this to reach them with the Gospel message! Our cattle genetic improvement strategy is designed to do just that.

Thanks to Mr. Ed Crossland (Masterpiece Genetics in MD) we shipped 2,100 units of Jersey and Guernsey semen that we will use to breed up the native cattle. Thanks to our Corporate Sponsors, we also took many of the supplies and equipment needed for the next AI training event in early 2025.

This outreach (and all of our work both here at home and around the world) would not be possible without all those who give sacrificially to make it possible. Your prayers are also very crucial and much needed! Please pray for God's wisdom and provision as we go in His name!
