It is a lot easier to close the library than reopen it. With that in mind we have been working on a plan to reopen the library building to the public. The number one priority is the safety of our staff. If the staff is safe, so will the public. Library staff have been working with Trustees, members of the public, and other stakeholders to adopt procedures, rules, and programs that will ensure a safe workplace for staff as well as a safe visiting experience for the public. The library has not announced a reopening date. The reopening plan will be adopted by the Library Trustees before the library reopens. There will be a public comment period prior to the adoption of any plan.

Please direct any questions, comments, or concerns regarding this matter to Director David Smolen.
