Remembering the Names of the Dearly Departed
Each year in honor of the All Saints Day, we hold a Service of Healing, Remembrance, and Hope. If you would like the name of a deceased loved one read aloud during the service and included in that weekend's worship bulletin, please email name(s) to office@stpaulsconcord.org
Advent Calendars
Most things about church are different this year, but NOT this: You can still enjoy one of Jay Sidebotham's Advent calendars! As usual, this year's calendar includes short reflections for each day and are the perfect excuse for breaking out your crayons or colored pencils and doing a little coloring.

If you'd like us to send you this year's calendar, please email the office at
office@stpaulsconcord.org or leave a message for Kristin at 224-2523 ext 14.
Weekly Prayers & Thanksgivings

Dear Lord, we pray...

From Peg
…in thanksgiving for Peg and David’s 27th wedding anniversary on October 23rd
...and that Michael is thriving going to MCPHS and living on his own in Boston

From Terry
…in thanksgiving for the generous spirit of those phoning New American citizens helping them in the voting process

from Catharine
...prayer for my daughter-in-law, Norah and my son, Laird and their two kids, Claire and Jay, as Norah is going in for surgery to have a precancerous lesion in her breast removed next Tuesday, and Jay is is recovering from a broken arm

-----------------

The Weekly Prayers & Thanksgivings in our Friday Update is the ideal place to share news or concerns publicly with the congregation and to ask for their prayers. This enables parishioners to prayerfully be involved in each other’s weekly lives. If you would like to share your prayers and thanksgivings in next week's Friday Update, we invite you to email office@stpaulsconcord.org.

Please note: Due to privacy concerns, parishioners may only submit their own names or the names of close family members. If you submit a name that is not from your family, the office will try their best to receive consent from that person, but if not, we will not share publicly.

Third Quarter Update from our Treasurer

To the parishioners of St. Paul's:

As the pandemic drags on, I am a little more cautious than I was three months ago but I still believe that St. Paul’s will end 2020 with a budget surplus.

The trends I mentioned in July have continued into the Fall. We are grateful to the very large majority of you who continue to fulfill your pledge and to those who didn’t pledge but are making regular donations. These contributions, along with the PPP grant and a reduction of almost $50,000 in expenses, fill the fundraising hole created by the absence of a Harvest Fair, the Sinfully Sweet event, a typical Easter collection, Scrip card income, etc…

I think we all understand that how we have done in the past is no guarantee of how we will do in the future. That said, if we all remain as supportive financially as we have been in the last six months we should end 2020 and start 2021 in a secure financial position.

A sincere thanks for your continued generosity.

Amazon Smile
If you use Amazon.com, please know that you can designate St. Paul's as your non-profit organization of choice, which often results in a percentage of your purchase being donated to St. Paul's. Information about the program can be found here.
