Things You May Have Missed Last Week...
Community Meetings Have Gone Virtual!
Communities must come first when the county considers development applications. A decision to develop is forever, and impacted communities must have a say in the process.

Coronavirus forced us to halt all development decisions and in-person community meetings, and search for new ways to expand community participation in the process. Since then, our Office of Planning and Zoning and Office of Information Technology have put in long hours to completely overhaul the community meetings process and website.

Residents can now view a calendar of upcoming community meetings in their area, review site plans and other documents, attend virtual meetings, watch previously recorded meetings, and provide public comments directly to the Office of Planning and Zoning - all through the new Community Meetings website.

We hope this new process expands community participation in ways we could not have imagined before the crisis. This is just another big example of how we can Build Back Better!
Participate in the Parole Mobility Study
County Transportation and Planning Offices, in collaboration with the Baltimore Metropolitan Council, is performing a study in support of the update to the Parole Urban Design Concept Plan (PUDCP).

Your feedback is critical to the planning decisions made that will affect communities in and around Parole for many years to come. As County Executive Pittman stated, "we have to hear from the public in order to get this right.”
