An Update from the Office of Community Engagement and Constituent Services (CECS)
Dear Community Leaders and Members of Anne Arundel County,

Thank you to everyone who came out to National Night Out yesterday evening. The weather was beautiful and it was a perfect night for community building. County Executive Pittman made it to all four events that were hosted by the county police districts in conjunction with local community leaders. From Brooklyn Park in the north to Shady Side in the south, he had a great time interacting with county residents and celebrating the good work of our police department.

Also, starting tomorrow, all persons entering a county-owned building or other county-owned facility will have to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. This is in line with the updated guidance from the CDC. While the policy is an administrative action that only applies to county-owned facilities, we encourage everyone to follow the latest masking guidance to help protect themselves and others from COVID-19. You can read more details below.

Best,

James Kitchin
Office of the County Executive
Director, CECS
