Dear Community Leaders and Members of Anne Arundel County,
This Monday, County Executive Steuart Pittman, the County Police Department, and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health announced the launch of a community survey on policing. The survey, which can be found below, allows residents to anonymously provide feedback on the Police Department’s work across the county.
County Executive Pittman believes that public safety is the most fundamental obligation of our government. The survey takes about 9 minutes to complete and serves as an opportunity for community members to contribute to the discussion on public safety in their communities.
Also announced this week was the launch of a new portal for federal funding proposals. Residents, nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders are encouraged to provide project abstract proposals to address the health and economic impacts of the pandemic using funds from the American Rescue Plan.
You can find more details on the portal below, along with other community updates.
