Municipal Development Plan & Land Use Bylaw Meeting For Local Businesses
On September 14, Drumheller Town Council gave first reading to a new Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and Land Use Bylaw. The public hearing is scheduled for October 26th. This meeting will provide an overview to local businesses on the MDP and LUB.
The meeting will be held via Zoom; register here to receive the link.
After registering, you should receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

BDC Small Business Week is an annual celebration of entrepreneurship that the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) has organized for over 40 years. Every year, close to 10,000 entrepreneurs gather to learn, network and celebrate the people building businesses across the country.

Alberta Employment Standards changes coming into effect November 1
Bill 32 was passed this spring with a focus on making employment rules more flexible for small business. Some changes include simpler rules for the holiday pay calculation, new rules around final pay at termination, and hours of work. Full announcement
