Temporary Immigration Policy Change Will Allow Visitors To Apply For A Work Permit Without Leaving Canada
Visitors who are currently in Canada and have a valid job offer will be able to apply for an employer-specific work permit and, if approved, receive the permit without having to leave the country. The temporary change comes into effect immediately. Foreign nationals who arrive in Canada as visitors after August 24 are not eligible under the policy. Find out more

Through this program, Community Futures Big Country would help pay for services related to your business's relaunch and future success. Potential business support services might include:
  • Legal Services and Advice related to business structure and decisions
  • Purchase business and/or accounting software, including support and/or training

Business Advocacy Committee Meeting- September 2, 12:00pm via Zoom

Canada United Small Business Relief Fund
This small business grant can be used for any of the following activities:
  • Purchasing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks, face shields, and latex gloves.
  • Renovating physical space to adhere to local, Provincial or Federal reopening guidelines.
  • Developing or improving e-commerce capabilities for your business.
Successful applicants will receive a relief grant of up to $5,000. Open to businesses of all kinds from across the country (from retailers to barbershops to farmers). Find out more
