Granville Island Store Update
Dear Members,
I would like to bring you up to date on recent personnel changes at the store.
Staff Leaving:
- Cathy Church, Gallery Manager
- Emily Cowan, Inventory Coordinator
Staff Changes:
- Kelsey Waggener, Inventory Coordinator and Admin Assistant
Staff Joining:
- Heather Flynn, Sales and Inventory
- Georgina Hawitt, Sales and Social Media Associate.
Firstly, as some of you may know July 24th was Cathy Church's last day as our store manager and therefore we would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her exemplary service during her time with Circle Craft and wish her the very best of success in her new ventures going forward. Cathy we very much appreciate the warm, inviting, and professional atmosphere you have created for both staff and customers - you will be dearly missed! She will be continuing on in a supporting role as a consultant to the gallery as we adjust to the upcoming changes.
Further on this front, the Co-op Manager position has now been
posted
and so for any of you who may be interested (or know of someone else who might be a good fit) please feel free to reach out for more information via return email.
With regards to staff leaving, we will also be saying farewell to Emily as of August 1
st
, 2020 and we therefore wish to thank her for her hard work over the past few years as well as wish her much success as she leaves to pursue new opportunities.
Secondly, we are pleased to announce that Kelsey has accepted an expanded role as our Inventory Co-ordinator and Admin Assistant and we look forward to supporting her as she embraces this new position.
Finally, we are happy to welcome both Heather and Georgina to our Store team. We look forward to working with you and trust your time with Circle Craft will be enriching and rewarding.

You're invited to apply to be a part of Circle Craft Gallery for a weekend!
Come by with a trunk show's worth of your work, and we'll assist you to present a special showcase in the gallery space for a weekend. This is an ideal opportunity for members who usually attend Granville Island as day vendors, or who customarily sell at major festivals such as Harmony Arts. We'll promote your pop-up presence in the gallery and process your sales. Please reach out to Kelsey at the gallery
