Hello,

As a previous member, I wanted to take this opportunity to send you information about the upcoming tennis & pickleball season!

Beginning on Tuesday, March 14th at 6:00am, Tennis/Pickleball memberships may be purchased online. The Gallagher Courts will be reconstructed beginning on approximately July 1, 2023. It is anticipated that the project will last through at least October 2023. As a result, a limited number of resident memberships will be sold on a seasonal basis (vs. an annual basis) this year. The spring membership will be valid from April 1-June 30, 2023.

The spring membership fees are $48.00 for resident adults (ages 18-59) and $36.00 for resident seniors (ages 60+). When you go to purchase your membership on MyRec and scroll on the Register tab, be sure to click on Memberships (do not select Programs)!

We will continue to offer online tennis/pickleball court reservations through PlayLocal again this year. This service will allow people make court reservations online using a computer or by using the app on their mobile device. Once you purchase a membership, our staff will notify PlayLocal that you are a member. That way, the system will recognize you as a member when you go to make court reservations. Please allow for 24 hours from the time you purchase a membership to when you will be added to the PlayLocal system. We appreciate your patience and understanding! Once your membership has been added to PlayLocal, you will receive additional instructions on how you can make court reservations.

A few things to highlight for the 2023 season:

• The courts will go live on PlayLocal at 6:00am each day.
• Clarke #3 will be reservable for pickleball play only.
• If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your reservation, you forfeit use of the court for the entire hour.
• Once you make a reservation, if you are no longer available at that time, please be sure to cancel your reservation ahead of time. Your consideration for fellow tennis/pickleball players is greatly appreciated.

The courts are set to officially open for the season on Saturday, April 1st. As PlayLocal allows for reservations to be made up to two weeks in advance, the system is set to relaunch on Saturday, March 18th.
