As we enter the final five weeks of our 2025 Stewardship Campaign, "Our Faith in Action," we want to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible generosity. Your support, whether through financial contributions, volunteer time, or your presence in worship, has contributed to fulfilling our mission and reaching out to others. Your contributions are vital to sustaining the vibrant life and mission of the Church of the Holy Comforter. | |
Our goal for this stewardship campaign is to reach $1,250,000, which is needed to support our 2025 operating budget. We are thrilled to report that, thanks to your generosity, we have already raised $1,075,046—86% of our target. This achievement reflects the dedication of 205 pledging households, which brings us to 89% of our target of 230 households. Our overall average household pledge this year is $5,245, which is lower than the overall average last year. | |
To fully meet our stewardship goal, we need to raise $174,954 and gain commitments from 25 more households. These funds are crucial in supporting our clergy, staff, buildings, grounds, and the numerous programs and ministries that enrich our parish life. We sincerely hope to fund a full-time Director of Family Ministries and increase the Capital Replacement budget to achieve a critical, campus-wide HVAC system upgrade. | |
If, at the end of the Stewardship Campaign, we fall short of the $1,250,000 goal, fiscal responsibility requires that the Vestry reduce program expenses to achieve a balanced budget. | | |
