Unemployment Insurance for Self-Employed Arkansans
For the first time, self-employed Arkansans and contractors are eligible for unemployment benefits as a result of the recently passed CARES Act. These benefits include $600 weekly in federal payments through the state and an additional $133 per week since Arkansas has been declared a natural disaster area.

The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services expects it will be about two weeks before it can accept applications from self-employed Arkansans and contract workers.  Sign up here to be notified of when to apply.
