Brenna Update


Coral Shreve spoke with Bonnie a little bit ago and the plan is for the family to bring Brenna home tomorrow. They will get a hospital bed so mom and Brenna will have somewhere to sleep and be comfortable. The family has made the decision with the Hopkins teams not to continue treatment. The tumor has increased in size and in order for the radiation treatments to start working on Brenna things get worse before they get better. The Hopkins team does not feel that Brenna is strong enough to make it through the treatments getting worse and the tumor is very aggressive. Dad will take emergency medical leave to be at home with the family. The family has made the decision to bring Brenna home and enjoy every moment until God calls her home.

God holds Brenna in the palm of his hand, giving her and her family a peace that passes all human understanding. Your prayers for Brenna are a blessing to her, her family, her physicians, and to each of you. We pray for Brenna because God tells us to and because we believe he hears everyone who prays to him. May we too grow in faith and holiness as we pray to our God who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine!
