Dear YMCA of Saginaw Members,
Thank you for your continued support of the YMCA cause, Strengthening Community. We are grateful for your patience during this difficult and unprecedented time.
The YMCA recognizes that the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is putting unprecedented financial strain on individuals, families, and employers like your YMCA. In response to these times we want to share with our membership the following process, as it relates to your membership dues.
March and future membership dues have been or will continue to be drafted on your pre-determined day as usual. For dues that are drafted to cover days that the facility was closed due to the COVID-19 Virus, members will have several options:
Members may choose to consider their dues as a donation. The YMCA of Saginaw is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization and committed to building healthy Spirit, Mind, and Body for all. We have delivered positive change in our community for 152 years. Despite this closure, we are continuing to impact lives by expanding our Free Youth Food Program, now serving nearly 500 youth meals every day. We exist for Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility, and your donation helps continue this work.
Members may choose to have their drafted dues credited to your account to be utilized for membership dues or program fees when we reopen. To make these arrangements contact us by email,
Members may individually choose to put their membership on hold or stop their membership indefinitely. Memberships put on hold will be subject to our standard $13 monthly hold fee. Memberships that are stopped will not be subject to an early termination fee but will be charged a join fee ($50 Individual or $75 Family) upon returning to the facility. Contact us by email,
The YMCA movement has stepped in when our communities and the world needs us the most. We have weathered crisis in the past and stand ready, as a pillar of the community, to take on these new challenges. We are stronger when we all work together.
