To the Pace Community:

As part of the ongoing operational transformations across Pace University, we are sharing important updates regarding Document Services and printing operations. These decisions were made in response to changing University needs, declining usage of centralized print services, and ongoing efforts to reduce waste and support more sustainable, digital-first practices across the institution.

Effective July 1, the following changes will take place:

  • Document Services will be consolidated to Westchester. Specialty print projects, including posters, bound books, table tents, signage, and similar materials, will now be produced exclusively through Document Services in Westchester and shipped to other campus locations.
  • Production and delivery timelines for specialty print projects will increase, so please plan accordingly.
  • In addition, beginning September 1, 2026, the University will no longer provide standard paper copy production services for the University community.

Printing, copying, and scanning services will continue to be available to the University’s student community through more than 20 multifunction copiers and printers located across all three Pace campuses. In addition, faculty and staff continue to have access to departmental copiers/printers across the University. A full list of available copiers/printers will be made available later this summer. To request access or connect to a departmental printer, please submit a HelpDesk ticket with ITS. Together, these resources are intended to provide flexible, efficient, and sustainable options for everyday campus needs.

We encourage all members of the community to review the Document Services website for updated processes, turnaround times, and specialty print request information, as well as the printer locations page to identify available multifunction copiers and printers across campus.

We understand this represents a change for many members of the community and appreciate your partnership as Pace continues to evolve services to better support the University’s future needs.
