Nestlé Purina Pet Food Division has issued an update regarding the ongoing supply challenges affecting Fancy Feast cat food.
According to Nestlé Purina, a labor-related work stoppage is currently taking place at its wet pet food manufacturing facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The company has stated that efforts are underway to minimize disruptions, and a contingency plan has been implemented to maintain basic operations with minimal impact on product supply.
Nestlé Purina has also reaffirmed its commitment to the collective bargaining process and its long-standing history of engagement with unions. The company remains open to continuing negotiations in good faith to reach a resolution.
