When he arrived, his tiny body told the story before we ever could. Starved, weak, unable to walk - a life of neglect had taken everything from him.

But you gave something back.

Because of your compassion, Firefox didn’t just survive - he’s beginning to heal.

While he is still anemic from lack of care, his body is slowly responding to the love and medical support he’s receiving. In less than a week, Firefox has gained half a pound - that’s nearly 20% of his body weight! For a dog this fragile, that kind of progress is incredible ❤️

Our medical team carefully followed a structured refeeding protocol (this helps prevent shock in severely malnourished dogs).

He has now completed that phase and continues to receive intensive supportive care, including:

• Physical therapy

• Red light laser therapy (with his special goggles!)

• Gentle range of motion exercises to rebuild muscle

• Repeat bloodwork and labs to monitor his vitals

Every step forward he takes is because of you.

We know many of you have already fallen in love - and we don’t blame you. We’ve received a lot of interest in adopting Firefox, but at this time, we are not accepting applications. His journey is far from over, and our focus remains entirely on his recovery.
