Bishop White has been in conversation with bishops of the dioceses impacted by Hurricane Helene and subsequent flooding. He has assured them of our prayers and has contributed financial support on behalf of the diocese.
These dioceses were generous to our diocese following the tornadoes of December 2021. They now face an immense recovery effort themselves. Please pray for them and their communities as they continuing coming to understand the extent of damage and loss of life.

Friends: I am in Montreat, N.C., where my family home is located. The cabin is in an extremely precarious position, and the property damage overall is unimaginable. It could be a total loss. It will be a long road to recover. Prayers appreciated. We have limited access to WiFi and cell coverage.
