Update on ICA Events & Programs
ICA Store Front
Dear Friends,

We hope you have been staying safe and healthy these last few months. We just wanted to give you an update and let you know we are still here.

News since we last reached out:

On June 3rd, the ICA Board of Directors and staff made the difficult decisions to cancel the 2020 Millpond Music Festival. We are grateful to everyone who has supported us for our first 28 years and we can't wait to talk to you all April 1st. Millpond 2021 will be held September 17-19, 2021. Read the full press release here .

We are in the process of working with the County of Inyo to determine whether it is feasible and safe enough to host the 2020 Labor Day Arts & Crafts Show.

And, unfortunately, the rumors are true. Our building of 22 years is in escrow and we will be moving somewhat soon. We have identified a few spaces in Bishop we are excited about and are currently preparing for the move. For this reason, we will not be opening to the public. Once we have made the final decision, we will let you all know. We look forward to setting up shop in a new home!

Moving forward - for our school programs we are devising plans to conduct lessons online and, when appropriate, in-person as long as physical distancing can be maintained. We are working with the Inyo County Office of Education and staying up-to-date on current plans for opening county schools this fall.

ICA has secured state funding for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, and we can't wait to provide all of our events and programs again. The cancellation of many of our events this year only makes us more excited to see you all at the Banff Mountain Film Festival, events for Community Reads, our Community Art Days, the Memorial Day Arts & Crafts Show, and the Millpond Music Festival, among others, next year!

Of course with all of our events and programs, our primary goal will be ensuring the health and safety of artists, vendors, attendees, and all of ICA's supporters. We will provide updates on all of our programs and events as needed through email, on our Facebook page, and on our website.

Stay safe and healthy!

Thank you,

ICA Staff & Board

Inyo Council for the Arts (ICA) is a non-profit community-based organization that advances the arts in Inyo County through participation, education, and collaboration. Art enriches lives, creates a language that connects all people, and celebrates diverse cultures and historical heritages. ICA provides venues for artists to perform and share their work, and for the community to gather in appreciation of the arts.
Thank you for your support!
