Dear South Jersey Jewish Community,

We are all cautiously optimistic as a ceasefire seems to be holding in Israel, hopefully marking the end of more than 11 days of fighting.

Please read here for a full report from JFNA earlier today.

We have seen news reports of violence against Jews in the U.S. because of the conflict between Israel and Hamas. We ask everyone in our community to stay vigilant and to contact local law enforcement should they see anything concerning. Our Jewish Federation and JCRC are and have been in constant contact with the Cherry Hill Police Department, and they are continuously monitoring any potential threats to the Jewish community. The police will always increase patrols in areas within the township that are seen as possible targets.
