Update for Individuals, Families and Guardians
Given the mandates and recommendations from the Governor's Office and Health Officials, the MCBDD is currently moving forward with the following actions:

  • Windfall School - Windfall Preschool and School will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020.

  • Early Intervention Services - EI staff will contact families directly before their next scheduled visit to discuss their services.

  • Service and Support Administration - SSA staff will continue to be available for any questions you may have. Please feel free to contact them as you normally would.

  • Community Employment - Community Employment Services are continuing at this time, any changes will be directly communicated with you.

Other than Windfall School, our agency continues to remain open and available to assist individuals and families with their needs. We are closely monitoring the situation and continue to rely on guidelines from the National Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Ohio Department of Health, and the Medina County Health Department when making decisions. If decisions need to be made, we will make them based upon the guidelines and recommendations of trained professionals in these organizations. We will communicate with you as new information becomes available and when any additional decisions are made a soon as we are able.
As always, the health, safety and well-being of our individuals, students and staff remain our top priorities. If you have any questions, please contact our Superintendent Stacey Maleckar at 330-725-7751 ext. 224. Thank you for your continued support of our agency.
