Public Transit Service Launch Update #4

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay would like to update the residents with more information about the bus and the bus service. This update is a reminder to users that the temporary bus route is fixed until the routing software is installed and launched, and the fixed route stops and times are subject to change based on user feedback and charging times for the electric bus.
We are pleased to announce that the inaugural run of the Town's public transit system will start at 9:00 AM on Monday, June 23, 2025, from the CLYMCA at 2 Corporal O'Quinn Boulevard!
There are changes to the previously listed stops and you can now find a more user-friendly map on our website. From June 23 through June 27, the free bus ride soft launch will follow the schedule found here on the Town's website, just below the map. Please note that the listed times per location are best estimates for various pick-up stops. In the case where the bus is full and unable to pick up more passengers, there will be a sign on the front of the bus to indicate that, and the bus will continue on the designated route.
If you miss the bus or the bus is full at your stop, you will have to wait for the next time the bus passes by, hence, it is advised that riders plan accordingly. The Town accepts no responsibility for missed appointments or late arrivals to your destination.
Note that a complete loop is estimated to be one hour and twenty minutes, after which the bus will take a recharge break before another loop begins. See further details on our website for the dates and times for each loop.
