As we continue the process of forming the Transition Committee, we, the Standing Committee, want to share an update on our progress. At this time, we have not yet received enough applications to begin the discernment and review process.
The Transition Committee plays a vital role in accompanying our diocese through the next stage of the Bishop search journey, and we hope to include voices and gifts from across our diverse congregations.
We will meet later this month to discuss next steps. In the meantime, please keep this process and all who are discerning their involvement in your prayers. Together we trust God to provide what is needed for this important work.
